• Question: Do you think that Felix Baumgartner's Space jump in 2012 was heroic or just plain crazy? He nearly died when he started to spin. Was it really worth it?

If we didn’t push the limits, we’d never get anywhere.

It annoyed me in the beginning because he came out against space exploration even thou he didn’t know anything about it, plus he didn’t jump anywhere near the space line, way less than half actually so it seemed like a publicity campaign from red bull.

But when it happened, you had to admire it, was scary and amazing to look at. The reaction it got from everyone was great. A lot of people were talking about space. Fareplay to him, pushing the limits is what we should be doing. I’d like to think I would’ve done it myself if I was offered. Although that’s easy saying that while I’m sitting behind a computer.
