For the spaceships we design at Airbus there are no ads on the side for a few reasons:
First the spaceships cannot be seen from earth so we wouldn’t be able to see them when they’ve left earth and more interestingly the thermal engineers are very particular about what colours to paint the spacecraft to make sure the temperature of all the parts are regulated during the mission (this can involve white paint to reflect the suns rays, black paint to absorb them and layers of gold and silver reflective material called multilayer insulation or MLI for short depending on their needs)
This said one place that does have ads is the sides of the rocket which transports the spaceship to space. Usually these are logos for the company that manufactured the spacecraft and rocket themselves such as Airbus Defence & Space, European Space Agency etc.
